A couple who quit city life to travel the UK in a renovated minibus have revealed how they cut their outgoings from over £3,500 to around £250 a month.
Graphic designers Charlie Osman, 28, and Josh Akhtar, 29, decided to swap their £1,600-a-month rented studio flat in for life on the road in a converted a £4,500 Mercedes-Benz minibus.
The couple spent £15,000 renovating the vehicle, stripping out rows of dated seats and adding a kitchen, seating area and a full-sized double bed at the back of the bus.
Now, they do freelance work from their van three days a week as they continue on their challenge of camping in all 15 of the UK's National Parks.

National Parks all allow camping either in designated areas or as 'wild camping'.
